Sri is an Architect, Mediation and Dispute Resolution Practitioner by qualification and spends most of her time volunteering at community organisations. She has volunteered at DCAB , Dandenong Neighbourhood House, Victoria Immigrant and Refugee Women’s Coalition, etc.
Sri was on the DCAB Board for 3 years, taking over the role of Vice Chairperson in 2014. Sri became board member of South East Community Links following the merger of DCAB and SCAAB resigning in 2016 to focus on Friends of Refugees. She is the founder of Friends of Refugees and current CEO of this organisation. Sri completed Diploma in Governance (NFP) in 2019.
