FORCE-CLEANING

Friends of Refugees Cleaning Enterprise (FORCE) and Property Maintenance creates training and employment opportunities for people from a vulnerable and disadvantaged background who are struggling to maintain work in a competitive labour market due to barriers such as their cultural background, no local references, no education pathway or no access to employment services, etc.

With the help of an experienced team of supervisory staff FORCE gives our trainees a safe environment to build their skills and confidence. At the same time, FORCE is also able to provide a professional, high quality cleaning and property maintenance service for our clients. Some of the elements of ensuring high quality include: weekly supervisor inspections, on-the-job training for each worksite, the payment of full award wages, and providing a flexible and supportive workplace.

FORCE provides client organisations with contract cleaning of domestic and commercial premises at competitive rates. This includes all types of internal cleaning, and covers both routine cleaning and deep/intensive cleaning of houses/units and offices, gardening, window cleaning, gutter cleaning, rubbish removals, painting, minor repairs and general maintenance for commercial and domestic customers

YOUR VOICES OF SUPPORT

Hi, I’m Brian from Lake Illawarra and I believe we are the most blessed country in the world and as such we have a responsibility to look after the most vulnerable people in the world. What we are currently doing to people who have come to us for help is dehumanising to both them and us. It needs to stop now. We have to find a better way.
