Baqir Khan spends most of his time volunteering and working hard towards improving lives of the asylum seekers and refugees in Australia and helping them live with “dignity and grace”. He has volunteered at the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC) and helped people realise their goals. Baqir also co-developed for the ASRC the “model of symbiotic innovation”, an interactive mode of engaging with services and programs. He started the member volunteer program and helped refugees improve their English skills and social opportunities.
During his free time, Baqir helps other refugees set up their business, and has also helped make documentary films and launch art exhibitions. His support has helped so many asylum seekers lead better lives.
