RASRA 2017

For the last two years, Friends of Refugees has been honouring World Refugee Day –  an important marker that helps to raise awareness of the plight of the 65.3 million displaced men, women and children across the globe – with an awards event to recognise and celebrate the contributions that many asylum seekers have made to the local community.

This year, however, it has become clear that with our limited resources and funding we need all hands on board to support people seeking asylum who are facing dire circumstances due to our adverse government policies.
